RTK, LiDAR, Wh and percentage slopes: this glossary explains mower specifications and the limits of what they tell you. Keep each figure tied to its model and measurement conditions.
Navigation: wire, RTK, LiDAR and vision
Boundary wire marks the working limits; guide wire may have a separate role such as supporting the return route. RTK means Real Time Kinematic: corrections improve satellite positioning. Depending on the system, they come from a local reference or a network. Check coverage and required equipment.
LiDAR measures distances using laser light. Camera images may support obstacle detection, positioning or grass recognition, depending on the model. Technologies can work together. Navimow describes H2 as using primary LiDAR with supporting Network RTK; that arrangement cannot be assumed across the range.
Area and zones: capacity is not access
Stated area is a capacity under manufacturer conditions, not the total property size. Multiple-zone support does not tell you how the mower travels between sections.
A passage connects accessible areas. A secondary area may require manual carrying, as Husqvarna’s examples illustrate. An island or stay-out zone excludes an area from mowing. Ask separately about zone count, passage width and isolated lawns.
Slopes: percentages, degrees and boundaries
A 30% slope rises 30 cm over 100 cm horizontally. It is approximately 16.7 degrees, not 30 degrees. Measure the horizontal distance rather than the distance along the inclined ground.
The maximum slope inside the working area may exceed the limit near its boundary. Husqvarna lists these separately. AWD means all-wheel drive; it does not replace the manual’s slope limits or suitable traction conditions.
Cutting width, height and finishing
Cutting width describes the strip covered by the cutting mechanism, not the full body width. Cutting height is an adjustment range. Check whether adjustment is manual or motorised and whether it can differ by zone.
An edge-cutting feature does not guarantee that all finishing work disappears. Disc position, body, edge type and installation clearances determine reach. Compare concrete requirements instead of marketing names.
Battery: Ah, Wh, runtime and charging
Ampere-hours describe electrical capacity; watt-hours describe energy. Using nominal values, estimated Wh = V × Ah. A purely illustrative calculation is 18 V × 5 Ah = 90 Wh. Comparing Ah alone across different voltages would be misleading.
Runtime describes operation under stated conditions, not guaranteed area. Charging duration needs starting and finishing levels: automatic low-battery return does not mean zero charge, and charging to 85% does not mean fully charged.
Connectivity and safety are different functions
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and cellular describe communication methods. Their purposes may include setup, control, positioning corrections or theft protection. A 4G label establishes neither an included subscription nor every possible function.
Obstacle avoidance is not a safety guarantee; Husqvarna explains this limitation for radar and ultrasonic systems. Depending on the model, a PIN controls access or starting. It does not detect animals.
Reference and offer: identify the correct product
An ASIN identifies an Amazon catalogue entry. Also retain manufacturer reference, generation and package contents to avoid mixing variants. A search link returns results without guaranteeing availability of the exact mower.

Does a 30% slope mean 30 degrees?
No. A 30 cm rise over 100 cm horizontally is approximately 16.7 degrees.
Are Ah and Wh interchangeable?
No. Ah describe electrical capacity and Wh energy. Nominal voltage links them approximately.
Does RTK always need a local antenna?
No. Some systems use network corrections. Check model, country and coverage.
