Google Analytics loads only with your permission. Google AdSense uses a separate advertising consent message.
Necessary browser storage
Cookies and localStorage are different browser storage mechanisms. Niva uses localStorage on this device for:
- niva_cookie: Analytics acceptance or refusal, notice version and expiry after 6 months. Earlier consent is requested again with this update.
- niva_language: your manually selected language until changed or website data is cleared. Without a choice, the browser language is used on entry.
- niva-comparison-v1: selected comparison models until local storage is cleared. Wizard answers stay in your browser; Niva does not send them to Analytics.
Google Analytics 4: optional audience measurement
Only after you select “Accept Analytics” does Niva load the Google tag to measure page visits and understand general usage, such as browser, device, language and visit source. Before consent, Niva loads no Analytics scripts or requests, including cookieless advanced consent-mode pings. Refusing does not restrict site features.
The _ga and _ga_76KHSWYPRZ cookies may distinguish a browser and its session state. Their expiry is set to 180 days without automatic renewal. This cookie lifetime does not determine how long Google stores events, which depends separately on Analytics property settings.
Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled in this integration. Niva passes a page URL without parameters or fragments, and reduces the referring URL to its origin. Niva sends no names, email addresses or user-account identifiers to Analytics. Google still receives technical data required for network requests.
Google AdSense: advertising and consent
The Google AdSense tag loads services needed for advertising and Google's consent message. The message is published for the EEA, UK and Switzerland in French, German and English, with consent, refusal and individual options. Loading it connects to Google and sends technical request data; it is separate from optional Analytics measurement.
Depending on your choices, Google and the partners listed in the message may use cookies, identifiers, device and content information to select, deliver and measure ads. The message lists partners, purposes and legal bases. Google's CMP stores your choices; validity and renewal depend on its settings and changes to purposes or partners. Advertising cookie lifetimes vary by service and choice; consult the partner information.
Analytics consent is not advertising consent. Use “Advertising privacy” in the footer to reopen the message and change or withdraw your choices. Legal pages, the comparator and the finder do not load the advertising tag; their link takes you to the homepage to open advertising settings. Actual ad delivery requires Google's approval of the account and site. Refusing personalized ads may still allow Google to serve limited ads under its rules.
Google Search Console
Search Console is used to review indexing, impressions and clicks in Google search results. DNS domain verification loads no script on site pages and sets no visitor cookies. These search reports are separate from Analytics visit measurement.
Changing or withdrawing consent
Open “Cookie settings” in the footer and select “Refuse”. Niva disables Analytics, deletes accessible Analytics cookies on its domain and reloads the page when needed. Other open tabs also apply the change. You can accept again later. Clearing site data also removes local preferences.
Withdrawal stops future measurement; it does not automatically erase information already received by Google. Use the contact in the legal notice for requests about your data.
Recipients, hosting and your rights
Cloudflare processes the network requests needed to deliver and secure this site. With consent, Google processes Analytics data under its terms and privacy policy. These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards and mechanisms described in their policies.
Audience measurement relies on consent. Technical preferences provide requested functions; security and administration support site operation and the publisher's legitimate interests. Depending on applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, withdraw consent or object to certain processing. You can complain to your competent data-protection authority.
Amazon links
Commercial links pass an affiliate tag to Amazon but do not load Amazon trackers on Niva. After you follow a link, the relevant Amazon marketplace applies its own privacy policy.
Contact — Web3Forms
Your name, email and message are used to answer your request. Web3Forms handles delivery and spam filtering. Its policy provides for retention up to three years and international processing, including from India. Do not include sensitive data.
