Budget

A useful budget covers a suitable mower, setup and identified running costs. Compare actual package contents before discounts.

WORX WR167E: catalogue image. The figures below are fictional and are not this mower’s price.

Add up the complete basket

  1. Equipment

    €700

  2. Setup

    €100

  3. Consumables

    €40

Example: €700 + €100 + €40 = €840. Replace each figure with your quote and add relevant costs.

Define requirements before price

Start with requirements that can exclude a model: grass area, slope, narrowest passage, separate zones and station location. A cheaper mower is still unsuitable if your garden exceeds its limits. Price does not establish cutting quality, reliability or setup effort.

Set a maximum budget for a usable installation, then preferences for wire, operating windows, settings and maintenance. Separate essentials from conveniences. You can then remove an option without sacrificing a requirement, rather than choosing the largest discount.

Compare exact package contents

The official WR167E page separates included equipment such as the station, battery, power supply and boundary wire from options such as ACS. Available features are not necessarily included, and a picture may show separately sold accessories.

Record the exact reference, generation, seller, country and contents. Check that mower and station match, then compare packages with the same useful functions. A US price or package cannot be transferred to Europe simply because the model name looks similar.

Allow for installation costs

Additional costs can include wire, fixings, approved mounting hardware, connector protection or professional installation. Obtain a quote based on your garden plan where needed. Wireless systems may require positioning and mapping; they do not remove all preparation.

Include paid connected services only where actually required. Check the included period, renewal price and functions remaining without a subscription. An unnecessary feature should not become an automatic expense.

Estimate maintenance without inventing lifespan

Check blade references, pack quantities, replacement instructions and spare-part support. Battery life and annual blade consumption are not universal constants. Multi-year projections must state assumptions and distinguish planned costs from uncertain repairs.

A purely arithmetic example, unrelated to any model price: €700 equipment, €100 setup and €40 consumables total €840. Replace these fictional figures with quotes. Add electricity separately using documented consumption and your tariff, not battery capacity alone.

Buying in October: check before deciding

An October 2026 offer is not a proven bargain without comparable price, date and contents. Keep the reference, final amount and conditions. The calendar alone proves neither a discount nor future availability. Check the seller’s delivery, return and support conditions rather than assuming they match across countries.

If storage will precede extended use, plan the location and care specified in the manual. Consider when you can actually check installation. Read reviews of the exact variant: delivery problems do not measure cutting quality, and early impressions do not establish multi-year reliability.
